Services Available To You And Your Pets In Raleigh And The Surrounding Areas Customized visits are made to ensure that you and your pets are getting everything out of a personal home visit. One feature that Happy Tails is built around is that I offer all of my services in an affordable and convenient manner. Happy Tails does not charge extra for the administration of oral medications or injections and it is our policy to charge regular fees on and around holidays as well, so you can rest assured that your pets are getting the best care available at a reasonable rate. Below are some popular options that clients use to make their pets feel the most comfortable while they are away. All visits include (if desired) daily plant care, mail and paper pickup, trash and recycling taken to the curb, turning lights on and off, and adjusting the curtains/blinds to give your home a "lived in" look while you are away. Small Animals, Exotics, and Pocket Pets -- $18 per visit
This service includes maintaining your smaller animal's regular feeding and pet care schedules. It is important for pets to have the same care that is given to them while you are home and my goal is to find out what times and activities they are most used to and keep them on that schedule. Feeding, litter box cleanings, playtimes, and walks/let outs are done during these visits. Depending on the number of pets that you have, these visits last between 20-30 minutes. Large Animals and Farm Care -- $28 per visit
This service includes maintaining your larger animal's regular feeding and care schedules. It is important for horses, livestock, goats, and other farm animals to have the same care that is given to them while you are home and it is most important that they be able to stay on the same feeding schedules that they are used to any other day. Feedings and turnouts are done during these visits. Exercising, grooming, and most stall cleanings are available for an additional charge. Depending on the number of horses or other farm animals that you have, these visits last between 20-40 minutes. Overnight Stays -- $70 for small animals and $80 for large animals - per night
This option is available if your pets need more attention than regular visits can provide. Generally, overnight stays are needed for puppies and kittens, senior pets who require more outside time throughout the night, and pets on medications. Many animals like to have the company that overnight stays provide. Feeding, walking, turnout, playtime, and litter box cleaning are done during these stays and the price includes at least 3 walks/let outs per day; morning, noon, and evening/night. In My Home, Pet Care -- $25 per day
This service is offered on a first come first serve basis. I can take up to two same family pets or one single family pet in my own home while you are away. It is a great option if you live outside the 20 minute drive from me or if you want your pet to get extra one on one time. The price includes 4 walks per day and playtimes as well. The owner must supply any food, bowls, toys, and/or bedding that the pet(s) may need while they are away. Pick-ups and drop-offs are available for this service as well. Afternoon Walks -- $18 per day
If you as the owner are not able to get home in the afternoon to walk your pet, this service is available to assist you. Afternoon walks are best utilized for senior pets who may not be able to wait as long in between outings and it is also useful for younger pets as well. Afternoon visits can be for as often as you like. Some clients need 2-3 days a week others need this service more frequently. Walking and refreshing your pet's water is usually done during this time and the visit last around 15 minutes. Playtimes can be added for an additional charge. Weekly rates are available for a discounted price. Park Visits -- $30 per visit
Similar to the afternoon walks this service allows for a change of scenery. I find a close park and take your pet on a leashed walk for at least 30 minutes. Dog parks are another option if your puppy likes the extra socialization. More time can be added if needed, and these trips can be taken at any point during the day. House Sitting Only -- $17 for the first visit and $12 for every additional visit
This option is available to people who are; planning on taking their pets with them on trips or don't have pets at all but still want their house checked on in their absence. All visits include; adjusting curtains/blinds, plant care (indoor and outdoor), turning on lamps/lights, mail and paper pickup, and trash and recycling taken to the curb. This service can be utilized every day or every few days and is great for extended vacations.
*All prices reflect houses that have 4-5 pets in them. Happy Tails is happy to care for your additional pets, but since it will take additional time to properly care for them, there will be a $3 per visit fee for every 3 extra pets.* *Payment is due before, or at the time of, provided services.* There will be a $20 returned check fee for any payment that comes back as insufficient funds.* *If you reside within a 20-30 minute driving time from me, there will be a $5 per day gas surcharge.* *Driving times over 30 minutes will include a minimum $10 per day gas surcharge added to your bill. * |
